Service Description Small RNAsequencing can be a challenging application depending on the sample type and ability to purify sufficient amounts of RNA. The MBCF has experience with a number of different library preparation methods and the most appropriate method strongly depends on the specific project, sample type, and analytical goals.
Purified RNA: Either total RNA or small RNA. Total RNA is preferable for QC, but you must be sure to use an extraction protocol that preserves the small RNA fraction (some do not).
MBCF optimal input : 100ng (inquire about low input options)
Volume & amount : >10ul
