ATACseq
Service Description
Assay for Transposase-Accessible Chromatin using sequencing (ATAC-seq) is a method used to assess chromatin accessibility across the genome. This technique uses a transposase enzyme to insert sequencing adapters into open regions of chromatin, enabling the identification of regulatory elements and nucleosome positioning.
Please note: ATAC-seq libraries are only sequenced by our facility; we do not perform library preparation for this application.
Library Requirements:
- Quality: TapeStation gel images should include characteristic nucleosomal banding pattern (we'll check)
- Concentration: >4nM
- Volume & amount : >10ul
- Index Sequences: Libraries must be prepared with Unique Dual Indices (UDIs).
Other Information:
To provide the most cost effective sequencing for ATACseq libraries, your samples will be multiplexed with other projects. UDIs both facilitate multiplexing and also eliminates the risk of cross samples contamination on the NovaSeq due to "index hopping". Index Sequences must be provided on the iLab form
